It's that time of year again. Everyone's favorite time when all your friends, neighbors, kids, co-workers and maybe even you are fighting off those ever-pervasive cold and flu symptoms. Before you know it a runny nose has become a sinus infection, a sore throat becomes bronchitis, and those muscles aches and shivers have manifested as the full on flu. Of course, the best place to start is to not get sick in the first place and that requires some seriously proactive efforts to kick your immune system into high gear and fight off those nasty germs that would seek and destroy!
You know the basics to diminish the spread of germs; wash your hands regularly, carry your hand sanitizer with you, cough and sneeze into the crook of your arm. This season has been tough, though. It will take a lot more than those precautions to keep you safe and healthy through the season.
