Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Jen Hilman Productions ("we," "us") collects when you visit jenhilman.com, buy a product such as The Expansion Activator™, create a member account, or interact with our ads and videos, and what we do with it.

It applies to jenhilman.com and its pages, checkout and member area. It does not cover other websites we link to, or YouTube, Instagram and other platforms, which have their own privacy policies.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Purchases: your name, email address, billing address and order details. Card and PayPal details are entered into our payment processors' secure forms; we never see or store your full card number.

  • Member accounts: your name, email address and login details if you create an account to access your purchases.

  • Messages: anything you send us by email or through a contact form.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, we and our service providers automatically collect information such as your IP address, device and browser type, approximate location (city or region), the pages you view, how long you stay, the link or ad that brought you here, and whether you started or completed a purchase.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:

  • Essential (Wix session and security cookies): keep the site, cart and checkout working.

  • Analytics (Google Analytics): show us how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

  • Advertising (Google Ads tag): measure whether our ads lead to purchases, and let us show ads to people who have visited the site or watched our videos.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop the cart or checkout from working.

How we use your information

  • To deliver what you bought: process payment, give you access to your purchase, and send receipts and access emails.

  • To support you: answer questions and handle refunds or access problems.

  • To send emails you asked for: for example, follow-up emails related to your purchase. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

  • To understand and improve the site: see which pages and offers are useful, and fix problems.

  • To advertise: measure which ads lead to purchases, show our ads to people who have visited jenhilman.com or watched our YouTube videos (often called "remarketing"), and avoid showing ads for a product to people who have already bought it. Google may combine this with information it holds about signed-in users, according to Google's own policies.

  • To protect the site and meet legal duties: prevent fraud, keep records required for tax and accounting, and comply with the law.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with companies that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

  • Wix.com: hosts the website, store, checkout, member accounts and emails.

  • Wix Payments, PayPal, Google Pay: process payments.

  • Google (Analytics, Ads, YouTube): site analytics, ad measurement and ad targeting.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

Using Google to show ads to past visitors may count as "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising under some US state privacy laws. You can opt out at any time, as explained below.

Your choices and rights

  • Marketing emails: click "unsubscribe" in any email. We will still send emails needed to deliver what you bought.

  • Cookies: block or delete cookies in your browser.

  • Personalized ads: turn off ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com, or opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

  • Opt out of targeted advertising: email us at jenhilmanproductions@gmail.com with the subject "Do not sell or share." We also treat a Global Privacy Control signal sent by your browser as an opt-out request.

  • Access, correct or delete your information: depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Email jenhilmanproductions@gmail.com. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

  • Visitors outside the US: our business is based in the United States, and your information is processed there. If you are in the UK or EU, you may also object to processing or ask us to limit it, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.

How long we keep it

We keep order and account information for as long as you have access to your purchase and as required for tax and accounting records, typically up to 7 years. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Advertising audience lists keep people for up to 540 days.

Security

We rely on Wix and our payment processors' security measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and secure payment forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the effective date at the top, and for significant changes we will post a notice on the site or email customers.
